วันที่ 4 มิถุนายน 2562 นายแผน วรรณเมธี เลขาธิการสภากาชาดไทย และนาวาโทหญิงแพทย์หญิงอุบลวัณณ์ จรูญเรืองฤทธิ์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติ สภากาชาดไทย ร่วมแถลงข่าวเชิญชวนประชาชนร่วมงานวันผู้บริจาคโลหิตโลก 2562 (World Blood Donor Day 2019) ปีนี้มีคำขวัญว่า "โลหิตปลอดภัย ทั้งผู้ให้และผู้รับ" ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นวันเสาร์ที่ 15 มิถุนายน 2562 ณ ศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติสภากาชาดไทย ในการนี้เภสัชกรหญิงจิราวรรณ สันติพิทักษ์ ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานบรรเทาทุกข์ฯ ร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าวด้วย ณ ศูนย์บริการโลหิตแห่งชาติสภากาชาดไทย
On June 4, 2019, at the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Secretary General, Thai Red Cross Society and CDR. Ubonwan Charoonruangrit, M.D., Director of the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society joined the press conference to invite people to join the event "World Blood Donor Day 2019" for this year slogan is "Safe Blood for all" which will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019. In this occasion, Mrs. Jirawan Santipitak, Assistant director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, joined together.
