วันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2562 พลโท นายแพทย์อำนาจ บาลี ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานบรรเทาทุกข์ฯ ร่วมในงานบำเพ็ญกุศล และถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์ อุทิศถวายแด่ผู้บริจาคดวงตาสภากาชาดไทยที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว เนื่องในวันศูนย์ดวงตาสภากาชาดไทย 2562 โดยในการนี้ นายแผน วรรณเมธี เลขาธิการสภากาชาดไทย เป็นประธานในงานดังกล่าว ณ โถงอเนกประสงค์ ชั้น 1 อาคารแพทยพัฒน์ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์
On 17th August, 2019, Lt.Gen.(Rtd)Amnat Barlee, M.D., Director of the Relief and Community Health Bureau, attended the ceremony made merits and presented food offering to the Buddhist monks, dedicated to donor eyes of the Thai Red Cross have passed away, on occasion "Thai Red Cross Eye Bank Day in 2019". As well as, Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society, presided over the ceremony, at multipurpose hall 1st floor, Padtayapatana Building, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital
